How time flies..!

Today, we are celebrating our first wedding anniversary. We didn’t have anything special today, but yesterday we had Easter celebration at church. I’m very grateful to God for his victory over death and his abundant blessings throughout our first year of marriage life.

When we exchanged our vows last year, it never occurred to me that we would be where we are now. My plans after we got married was to get a job as soon as possible, and we would then live separately for a few years. I also planned not to have any children yet, because I wanted to concentrate on my career first. 

Now, we have a very different scenario. We are having our first child to be born in two months, so we called off our first plan to live separately. It is no longer just the two of us, but we will become a family of three, and we couldn’t be happier than ever!

It’s just amazing how God provided us with so many blessings. His plans may be different to those of ours, but we are grateful that we can trust him for providing ways eventually better for us.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
