Getting South Korean Visa
Me and my family are planning to visit my little brother in South Korea at the end of the month.
Today, I went to their consulate at Yokohama applying for visa.
Actually, this is my second attempt as at first I went to their embassy, but it turns out they do not issue visa there.
So, as you can guess already, you need to go to their consulate for visa.
But be careful!
It will not be just any consulate, but consulate that is responsible for your residencial area.
Since, I live in Kawasaki city, the Korean authority is Yokohama consulate which is responsible for Kanagawa prefecture area.

Must go there with public transporation.
If you’re not living in Kanagawa Prefecture, you can just call the number above and ask which consulate you should go to. It is faster this way, rather than browsing the net.
Documents Needed
1. Application Form
Available at the consulate.
2.Passport Size Picture
4.5cm x 3.5cm
3. Your Passport
4. Copy of your passport and page with Re-entry permit seal
5. Copy of you alien registration card (both side)
6. Letter of proxy (ininjou) if you’re applying for your family as well
Must come there between 10:00 – 11:30 for applying. The visa should be ready within two working days and you must go there between 13:30 – 16:00 to get it.
